Sukumar Sam, Teacher, Poet & Author, Durgapur:G
Giridhari Sen, a milk-man,
He is not a villain.
He adulterates in our milk-can
So, he is regarded as a Pilfering-man.
He is exhorted not to do so,
His lame excuse, so and so.
He is told to make the price-rate lower,
He retorts, it would be difficult to maintain colour.
So a reconciliation was made,
It was agreed to maintain the grade.
He nodded positively,
I bought a lactometer,
And it was to detect his caricature.
So, next time he brought his usual measure
dipped the gadget with pleasure.
Now, his swindling is focused,
He kept mum but sniggered.
I snapped him in my mental photograph,
And told him about Chitragupta's graph.
I threatened that Lord Krishna would punish,
He said, "no, He is our genesis, He will rescue and kiss".
He baffled my calculation and I had to desist,
I came to the conclusion that they are the very embodiment of a sophist.
